At LSPC we're always learning. Here's some of the thinking
in early childhood development that guides our programs.

Play is a crucial aspect of a child's brain development.


PLAY is as crucial to a child’s brain development as being read to, or any other academic activity. Problem solving, coordination, emotional stability and social skills--all are bolstered through play.

Precisely why we built Deanna's Playhouse: because a child playing is a "mind on the move." So we designed our Playhouse with all kinds of features to maximize potential brain development, but never at the expense of being all-out fun, of course!

Research continues to bear out the importance of play for young, developing minds. We're glad we can provide the Holland community with a year-round place dedicated to nothing but fun and PLAY!
