Our Performance Series opens the stage to professional, kid-friendly musicians, thespians and other acts. And, equally exciting, we open the stage to kids themselves! Led by our on-staff music director, kids are encouraged to sing, dance, dress up and otherwise unleash their limitless imaginations. this is the sidebar.

As with everything here, the play has a purpose. Spurring creativity, in turn, boosts brain development and betters the participating child's chances for success in school and beyond.

The centerpiece of Life Services Parent Center is Deanna’s Playhouse. Built with support from the Kellogg Foundation and technical assistance from national experts on indoor play spaces,

this 15,000 square-foot barrier-free play center delivers hours of fun for kids and parents alike. Imagination Village, our spacious Holland-themed play area, keeps kids and parents active, both physically and mentally. But that’s just the beginning. Music and art rooms allow children to express their creativity through painting and crafts. Combined with “Zebron” the Submarine, an infant-parent area, stage with props, a “café” for snacks, and separate party rooms for private family celebrations,

Deanna’s Playhouse offers a comprehensive, family-friendly activity center unique to the Holland area. But beyond the sheer playfulness that abounds here, Deanna’s Playhouse provides a “launchpad” to the many other services and resources available at Life Services Parent Center. Once parents enter the Playhouse, most discover our Michigan Parent Information and Resource Center, loaded with free information for better parenting. They also make links to our other services and programs. Every visit is another opportunity to learn more about parenting, and for parents to form stronger bonds with their kids.
